Seeds have the highest nutritional value when they are seedlings. The sprouts contain a greater concentration of nutrients like Vitamin E, potassium, iron, phytochemicals, antioxidants, bioflavonoids, chemoprotectants and protein.The amounts these vitamins and minerals impart generate benefits for nearly every area of the body. They also contain other nutrients like folic acid, zinc, niacin, riboflavin, copper and magnesium which are very good for hair.
Pick all ingredients for dirt. Take all ingredients in a vessel and wash twice and fill with enough water (five times the quantity). Close with a lid and leave to soak for 10 to 12 hours. Remove all water, close lid and keep aside to sprout (multiple holed vessel can also be used or it can be wrapped in a wet cloth). This is done for good aeration. In 24 to 30 hours the sprouts form. Refrigerate in an airtight box. Stored sprouts can be used for a week.
