Moringa Oleifera Soup (Drumstick Tree Leaves)
This soup is rich in vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Ingredients required to prepare 0.5L(17fl.Oz.) of Moringa Soup –
- Water – 500 ml
- Moringa Leaves – Handful
- Onion – 1 medium chopped fine
- Tomato – 1 medium chopped fine
- Black Pepper – To taste
- Ginger – 1 inch pounded
- Garlic – 4 flakes pounded
- Ghee (Clarified Butte) – 1 Teaspoon
- Coriander leaves – Few chopped fine
- Salt – To taste
Method of preparation –
- Boil water
- Add all ingredients except seasonings
- Simmer for 10 minutes
- Strain
- Add seasonings
NOTE –
- Moringa leaves has a strong taste, adding handful is enough
- If using dried powder, add 1 teaspoon
